.Now...Wet weather expected to continue this evening... Periods of rain will continue across central...Northeast...And east- central Wisconsin this evening. Although the rain is not expected to be heavy...It will be persistent. The combination of the rain and east winds will make it feel very chilly and damp. Temperatures should hold in the upper 30s to lower 40s throughout the evening. Across far northern Wisconsin...Generally from rhinelander to crandon to pembine northward...Temperatures were a little colder...And generally in the middle 30s. This was causing the precipitation in this area to fall as a mix of rain and wet snow. In general...The precipitation was falling as rain or drizzle when it was light...But changing to mainly snow as the heavier pockets of precipitation moved through. Some wet slushy snow accumulations were occurring on grassy areas. The precipitation is expected to continue to switch back and forth between mainly light rain and wet snow during the evening. Anyone traveling across the region this evening should expect to encounter wet roads. Be sure to drive appropriately...Maintaining a distance between your vehicle and the others on the road.
